Wandering around the past

[Cat Rink]

Cat walked around what was left of Hogsmeade. It was a dark morning. Cat hated the darkness that forever covered the place. She walked around the last place she had seen her brother alive. The sence played in her head, over and over again.

It was a beautiful sunny day out, then it started to turn into a dark and Stormy day. That morning was the last morning that Cat would ever see her brother again. They where heading home with some supplies for the best pasta that Cat ever tasted. She loved her mothers pasta.

Cat and her brother Mike looked to the sky and mike said "Cat we need to get home fast because it looks like it is going to storm" Mike picked up the pace to get home faster. Then Cat said "Mike i cant walk that fast please slow down." After Cat finished the sentence, she was knocked to the ground by a lot of people. She managed to crawl to the nearest bench and screamed for her brother.

After all the commotion died she looked around The place but all that was left was nothingness. She looked around for her brother, she couldn't find him. At that moment Cat had become an orphan.

The sence ended and she looked around just like the end of her memory. She was upset. She looked around to see a note taped to a bench where she stayed until the end of the confusion. She walked over to it and pulled it off and it said:

If you are Cat then read if not don't touch.

Dear Cat
Hey how are you my little squirt. If you haven't seen its me Mike your old brother. I am OK, and please don't worry about me i am fine. You just worry about staying away from Vampires and witch hunters. Cat I know your probably scared just think some day we will be together. Until that time you will always be my Squirt.

Cat read the note and tears welled up in her eyes, she missed her brother a great deal. She looked around to see if she saw her brother but not a sign of any one. A single tar escaped from her eye, and it rolled down her cheek.

Hogsmeade. Danae had heard stories of the all wizard village and the idea appealed to her. Though it was mostly abandoned and completely dangerous, Danae found that as a challege and decided to investigate. The hunting leader usually scoped out an area before sending the troops out for hunting. If an area wasn't occupied with enough "potential threats" it was ignored for the most. And Hogsmeade, so far as Danae saw it, was as empty as the hearts of the ones she hunted.

Moving quickly through the torn down and board buildings, Danae never let her guard down, no matter how abandoned a place looked. Wandering around she noticed the businesses that once stood. A post office stood empty as if the occupants simply got up and left, owls fluttering about freely. Danae knew that owls were used by wizards for mail, and even muggles were joining on with it since there were no longer any other ways of communication. She also passed a joke shop with posters still up bearing pictures of some horrible looking objects. To think that those monsters taught evil at such a young age!

A noise was heard and Danae moved swiftly into a building to hide. Peeking out the window, Danae spotted the one who caused the sound. It was a young girl and from what Danae could tell, she was upset and crying. How could an unattended child be wandering out in the open? The bothered Danae and wanting to help, she jump right out to the street to approach the girl.

"Hey!" she called over to her. "Are you ok?" Thinking that the girl would be startled by her, Danae continued with, "Don't worry, I won't hurt you. I have a gun but I use it only for protection, never anything else." It was a lie but a small one, Danae just wanted the girl to trust her enough to get her to safety.

Cat sat reading the letter from her brother. She miossed her family very much. She wanted to be able to go back and live those sunny warm days, that wouldn't happen untill this war was over. She hated all the fighting that was going on. SHe reread the 2nd to the last line where it said Cat I know your probably scared just think some day we will be together.

Cat was to busy trying to hold her crying to a low sound as not to wake any thing that might be around her. She didn't want to deal with any one that was out to kill her. She wanted to be alive long enought to see her brother. Cat loved them very much, and she missed them more than she ever thought she would.

Cat heard a voice that said 'hey are you ok, Don't worry, I won't hurt you. I have a gun but I use it only for protection, never anything else.' Cat jumped and she scotted to the other side of the bench away from the girl. "I am fine" she said wiping a tear way from her eyes. She thought 'right why should i trust you, i dont know you' She looked at the girl and realized she was a muggle, or another witch, and not a vampire, this girl was to nice to be a vampire.

She turned to the girl and said "What are you doing out here it isn't safe" she said. Cat knew this but she did know some spell to knock people in to the next day or week, she wasn't that hopeless, her brother taught her what she knew.
