Please tell how you voted and why and also if you like the idea of sending in a power request in the form of an RP sample post. The post should consist of how they learned that new power. That power is not something they've had and its barely used. Its new.

I voted Yes. I love the idea of sending a post example of that power. I'm not sure if there should be powers like Legilimency because they would've been born with that type of power, wouldn't they? [Loser moment..] Also, I believe that in order to qualify, at least three quarters of their posts should consist of IC posts... Most of their posts should not be in the Muggle world like the Name Game or Sig/Celebrity Rater and such.. like I said, most of those posts should reflect their RPing skills.
Also, if yes wins in this poll, and we decide on doing it, we should try to figure out which powers are right for this point system.

Actually, I don't think Legilimency is something you're born with. If you can learn Occlumency, like Harry did, then you should be able to learn Legilimency. Example, according to the sixth book, Tom Riddle never mentioned being able to read minds when he spoke of his being 'special' to Dumbledore.
In any case, I voted yes, because it sounds cool! Things that have undone other sites before this one include people who ask for powers and don't prove they can use them. This is one way to avoid that.

the only wizarding power a person is born with is metamorphmagus.
all of the other ones are learned.

Actually, if you remember, in the fifth book, when Harry asked Tonks about her abilities, she said it takes a long time to learn, and its just easier to be born with it in the first place...

That wasn't actually being able to learn to be a metamophmagus, but learning to use spells and potions to change appearances.
Its a good idea, but it might need a bit of adjusting for muggle characters that cant have powers. How about discovering some technology or something that would help them in the fight?
